Nate the Great
NMB has always been about employees, their families and helping those in need. The NMB team has come together again to help a fellow employee in need of some moral and financial support. Sadly, an NMB employee’s little boy has been battling Heterotaxy Syndrome. This is a rare birth defect that involves the heart and other organs. Nate the Great will be traveling to Boston in the new year for his fourth open heart surgery. To help Nate's family with the extensive costs involved the Northern Mat & Bridge family has come together to raise money for the trip.
We have been donating money through http://natethegreat.myevent.com/ as well as through cash donations and payroll deductions. Our employees have started donation competitions as well as donating hours of work. Northern Mat & Bridge is matching all employee donations. To date, NMB employees have donated $27,115 and contractors, family and friends have donated an additional $4,823. NMB will be matching $27,115 for a grand total of $59,053. For everyone at NMB, it has been a proud yet emotional time to watch everyone come together for such an amazing and courageous boy.
“Northern Mat is and has always been a family, and families step up to support each other when their chips are down. You continue to demonstrate this in spades.”- Darren Francis
