Northern Mat & Bridge forms new Joint Venture with First Nations Group
Northern Mat & Bridge Ltd. and The Mikisew Group of Companies are pleased to announce the formation of the Joint Venture 'Northern Mikisew Access Solutions’. This Joint Venture, which is 51% owned by the Mikisew Group, will specialize in providing access mats, rig mats, portable bridges, and soil stabilization services to all industries in North Eastern Alberta. NEW! Access Mat Acquisition
We are pleased to announce that Northern Mat & Bridge Ltd. has finalized an agreement to acquire the complete access mat rental fleet of Formula Powell LP. It strengthens our position by adding to our existing rental fleet in key markets as well as provides inventory in several new locations for us in British Columbia and Alberta. In addition to the acquisition of the access mats, Northern Mat & Bridge Ltd. has entered into a Transportation Services Agreement (TSA) with Formula Powell LP whereby all 3rd party trucking and transportation services, involving rental access mats, will be provided for by Formula Powell LP.

We have changed the name of our business to Northern Mat & Bridge Ltd. There has been no change in ownership or management and we will continue to provide the same high quality products and service on which we have built our reputation. We will continue to grow our business into new markets and new industries, "Providing Access Solutions, Rentals, Sales and Service".

Northern Bridge & Mat Rentals Ltd. finalized an agreement to purchase Peak Energy Services oak access mat inventory. This acquisition strengthens our market position with inventory in several new locations throughout British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan.

Purchased Rig Boss
Northern Bridge & Mat Rentals Ltd. recently purchased Rig Boss out in Rocky Mountain House, AB. Acquisition of this venture extends our service area from Northern British Columbia all the way across Alberta and into Saskatchewan. We want to be in a position to service future mega projects such as proposed pipelines coming form the north, various mining projects in the west and continued drilling in Alberta and BC. With rental stock of bridges and mats in Ft Nelson, Ft St John, Grande Prairie, Rocky Mountain House and Ft McMurray we feel we have very extensive inventory and geographic coverage to assist in any future project.
